Sometimes it is not a big dental problem.�It is just that one little chip your eye goes to every time you smile.

In this case, the patient came to us with chipped front teeth, which made the smile feel uneven and a little unfinished.

We treated this with cosmetic bonding. That means using a tooth-coloured composite material to rebuild and refine the edges of the teeth, then shaping and polishing it so it blends naturally with the rest of the smile.

Just careful detail work, so the teeth look whole again. The result is smoother, more even, and much easier on the eye, the kind of change that feels small until you see the before and after side by side.

🚫 Myth: If a tooth stops hurting, it has fixed itself.
💡 Fact: Not always. Sometimes the pain eases because the nerve has died, or because an abscess has drained, but the problem is still there and still needs treatment.

✨ Why it matters:
A tooth abscess does not go away on its own, even if the pain suddenly improves. And if an infected tooth is left untreated, it may still need root canal treatment or even extraction.

🔍 Tip:
If a tooth has been painful and then suddenly goes quiet, don’t take that as good news just yet. It’s worth having it checked properly, before it turns into something bigger.

𝗔 𝗰𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼𝗼𝘁𝗵, 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝘄𝗮𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝘁

This was not just a small crack.

The tooth had fractured right through the middle, causing severe pain and affecting the patient’s day-to-day life.

Dr George Khetab carefully dissected the cracked part away and rebuilt the tooth with layered composite bonding.

The composite used was a chameleon effect where the colour of the tooth has been matched taking the natural light and the body of the tooth into consideration

The crack has been eliminated, the tooth has been restored, and the patient can use it comfortably again.
