Due to the illness of some of our valuable Drivers, we are desperate for more Volunteer Drivers, So:

If 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝘃𝗼𝗹𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆?

Hythe & District Voluntary Car Group is a voluntary service supporting the elderly in our area by providing transport to Hospitals, Doctors & Dentists etc.

If you, a family member or someone you know are keen of helping in our Community, we would love you or them to become a Voluntary Driver for the Hythe & District Voluntary Car Group. Drivers are paid a minimum of 45 pence per mile and you would be helping the less fortunate in Hythe & District, plus you would be meeting people & making many new Friends. If you require a car with a wheelchair, please ask for this at the time of booking. You must organise an es**rt to push the wheelchair. If you don't have a Family Member or Friend to help, please call Waterside Good Neighbours on 023 80843676 and speak to Maureen Boxall, the WGN Co-ordinator.

Do you or someone you know have the need for transport to Hospital, the Doctors, the Dentist etc and live in the Waterside Area, including Hythe, Dibden Purlieu, Marchwood, Holbury or the Beaulieu area, then contact the Hythe Voluntary Car Group, your local Community Transport. Please call 02380 845788 from 9am to 11am, Monday to Friday. Cars can be booked up to 4 weeks in advance.
