Do it for the future you ..

I promise I’m not just nagging on about SPF for the sake of it 😂 I’m helping you help your own skin.

In my twenties I genuinely did not care. Sunbeds, sitting in the sun covered in oil, barely thinking about SPF… if there was a quicker way to get a tan, I was probably doing it 🫠

Fast forward to my thirties and I now struggle with melasma. Mine was triggered by pregnancy and hormones, but all those years of sun exposure definitely did my skin no favours.

And that’s probably why I’m so passionate about it now..

If you’re investing your money into microneedling, skin treatments and good skincare, protect the results you’re working so hard for. And even if you’re not having treatments, SPF is one of the best things you can do for your skin long term.. I promise.

A relaxing facial will always have its place 🤍 .. But if you want to make real, visible changes to texture, pores, acne scarring or stubborn post breakout marks, microneedling can be an amazing place to start.

However not every skin is ready for it straight away. If your barrier is compromised, your skin is particularly inflamed or you’re dealing with more severe inflammatory acne, we may need to work on your skin health first.

It’s about treating the right skin concern, with the right treatment, at the right time.

During treatment I use a professional Hyaluronic Acid + Vitamin B5 booster to deeply hydrate, support the skin barrier and help lock in moisture 💧

I’m telling my clients all the time.. leave the spot alone 😂 but it’s hard to follow advice when you don’t actually understand the WHY behind it.

I made this post off the back of a cheeky little whitehead that’s appeared on my chin less than a week before a big event. Every inch of my soul wanted to attack it for that instant satisfaction 😭

But I also know the difference between what happens when you squeeze it versus leaving it alone.. and what you can do instead to help it clear quicker without being left with a big red mark hanging around for months.
