Apparently getting older means collagen becomes an obsession.. drinking it, applying it, stimulating it. Basically doing whatever we can to cling onto the stuff 😂

But what’s actually worth your money?

Collagen creams can’t replace the collagen deeper in your skin, and powders + drinks may have some benefit.. but they’re not quite the miracle they’re marketed as.

What we do know works? Protecting the collagen you already have with daily SPF + stimulating new collagen with treatments like microneedling.

The important of maintenance appointments 👇

My friend only comes to me once or twice a year for her teeth whitening.. mainly because sitting still and doing absolutely nothing for 60 minutes is apparently her idea of torture 😂

Her teeth are already a really good colour, so we’re not looking for a huge transformation each time. It’s simply about maintaining her results, lifting any staining that’s built up and keeping them looking fresh and bright ✨

You don’t always need to wait until your teeth have noticeably discoloured before having them whitened. Once you’ve got them to a shade you’re happy with, an occasional maintenance treatment can be enough to keep on top of the results 🤍

I didn’t have my first facial until my late twenties.. and now I genuinely think regular facials and the right skincare are a big reason my skin looks better than it did when I was younger.

Something I hear ALL the time from my regular facial clients..

“I hardly ever break out anymore.”

And there’s actually a reason for it 👇🏾

Our skin is constantly shedding dead skin cells. When these mix with excess oil inside the pore, they can contribute to blockages.. and blocked pores can eventually become those little bumps, blackheads and inflamed spots we all love 🙃

Don’t make my mistake .. not that I’m a leather bag, excuse me! I just didn’t wear SPF until my mid to late 20s and sat out sunbathing in pretty much any oil I could get my hands on .. including chip oil hehe.
.I then developed pigmentation years later from all the unprotected sun exposure 🙃
