There is no better compliment than your friends and family trusting you with their faces.

My beautiful mum came up to see me on Friday night just wanting a”freshen up”.

As we age the deep and superficial fat depletes making the soft tissues on our face elongate or in my mums words “sag”.
Correct injecting technique and product choice replaces the fat we have lost keeping it natural and age appropriate, making you the best version of you.

In total less than 3.2mls of filler was used to lift and contour the cheekbones along with improving the jaw line.

The 4 mm Needle Technique

What is it??? 🤷🏻‍♀️

Your safety is my priority during any aesthetic treatment. All my training, particularly over the last 2 years has been to MINIMISE risks ( this does not mean better results)

The needle on the right is provided by the manufacturers to administer lip filler. It is 13mm long with a 27G diameter. I previously used this for years with excellent results but have now moved over to the 4mm needle.

Why?? 💉

The 4mm needle is thinner and less than a third of the size of the one provided.

This in turn

☑️ Reduces discomfort during treatment
☑️ Minimises the risk of bruising
☑️ Reduces the risk of a vascular occlusion ( when filler is injected accidentally into a blood vessel)

This patient was becoming increasingly self-conscious about her upper lip becoming less prominent and so was considering lip filler 👄

Did you know that in order to give the best aesthetic result filler cannot only be placed in the lips? Treatment planning has to consider all the surrounding soft tissue and muscles that support the lips. This can be staged over a couple of appointment and include filler, botox or combination of both 💉

By treating the supporting tissues as well as the upper lip the smokers lines have also softened whilst providing volume, symmetry and improving aesthetics 🥰
