Okay, okay, so I wasn't going to make any C-word decorations this year but...remember these? Available now!

Approx 6" across, slate hearts strung with twine, glittery red felt and a festive papercut. Little candy-cane-striped beads and twirly wire optional. £6 each. PM me if you'd like one in your life (or a friend's).

Continuing my foray into concrete and cement, I bring you...a concrete 'cushion' complete with spangly candle holder! Or use it as a bowl for your little bits and bobs. We've all got them.

£10 on its own or £12 with the glass tealight holder and candle.

I don't have so much time for making things these days but there's no end of inspiration out there. It's great to see so many small businesses thriving in Dundee just now and every day I'm allowed out, I stumble across somewhere new.

I'm not a glasses wearer but had a ball yesterday trying on specs and posing about in this little gem of a shop with one of my oldest and bestest.

It's been a crazy couple of weeks here at tiquismiquis HQ. And when I feel myself turning into Grumpy Mama, I try to remember this poem from a recent order. It gets me every time!

"Give me patience when little hands
tug at me with ceaseless small demands.

Give me gentle words and smiling eyes
and keep my lips from hasty replies.

Let me not in weariness, confusion or noise
obscure my vision from life's fleeting joys.

So in years to come, when my house is still,

Yesterday, The Toddler turned 3, so this is what's been keeping me busy this week. Apologies for the poor photos - it's hard to get a shot of anything in this house without plastic toys cluttering up the background!

Hello all! Time for a long-overdue update on my crafting activities I think. Now, hold onto your hats...this month I have mostly been in the shed playing with: concrete!

Very much at the prototype stage but please let me know what you think of these potential candle holders (also bookends?) and magnets.
