Choosing the right shade is not about selecting the brightest white on the chart.

Porcelain has depth, translucency and subtle undertones. The shade needs to work with the patient’s skin tone, facial features and natural teeth, while responding to light in the same way a real tooth would.

That is why shade selection is such an important part of the design process. Every detail is assessed carefully to ensure the final result feels balanced, natural and completely individual to the person wearing it.

The goal is never simply to create whiter teeth.

This patient came to me unhappy with the overcrowding of her teeth. She didn’t need extensive dental treatment to achieve the smile she wanted. With careful planning and a course of clear aligners, we were able to create a beautifully balanced, natural result.

This lovely gentleman was referred to us by a friend and came to see Dr Simon after breaking one of his existing veneers. With his wedding day fast approaching, he wanted to ensure his smile was picture perfect. 📸💍

After his consultation, he loved the personalised treatment plan designed using Digital Smile Design. Time was tight, but we worked hard to ensure his smile transformation was completed ahead of schedule ~ a whole week early!

This was at his preparation appointment, where we removed his old veneers and fitted his temporary teeth being guided by our digital stent.

Katie’s smile journey is one we see all too often. Like many others, she had composite bonding done when she was younger, which over time was replaced with crowns and veneers.

But when dental work isn’t done as a complete set, it can lead to a mismatch in shape, size and shade, leaving patients like Katie feeling quite self conscious about their smile.

Using 𝗗𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻, we carefully planned Katie’s transformation. Firstly we removed her old restorations and prepared her teeth. We then fitted her temporary teeth, so she can get a real preview of what her smile is going to look like before having her final teeth fitted.

Turning ‘No Hope’ into a New Smile! ✨
