What does living with limb loss really look like?

Well, when you have a great team behind you, Lord Craig Mackinlay says it can look something like this...

"Not only can I say yes to going on a walk with my family and friends - I can do 10,000-12,000 steps a day quite easily in my prostheses, I also lead a very busy life as a quadruple amputee. I’m a member of the House of Lords, director of a charity, and I am a Chartered Accountant working 6 days a week across these roles.

The journey to getting well, whether that be because of an accident or perhaps through sepsis like me, isn’t a journey of one. The key is having a great team behind you. My wife is part of this journey, and my six-year-old daughter is part of this journey as well."
