LAUNCH NIGHT 26-09-2011
Indie
We all know the indie hits you love singing and dancing along to like The Killers, Kings of Leon and Arctic Monkeys, but we are also going to take you back to the greats that have been over loo
ked such as We are Scientists, The Gossip, Larrikin Love, Good Shoes, and Testicicles. If you are sitting there thinking "Who are these bands?", don’t worry we will have something to help you get to know them (which you will let you know more about soon). oh The Libertines, Oasis, Blur, Pulp and the Manics might crop up as well. Metal
Remember when indie kids and metallers used to live in harmony? How long has it been since you heard Respect by Pantera, Sugar by SOAD, Back to school by Deftones, Killing in the Name Of by Rage ... oh wait. We are going old school and bringing you the metal back that Medway has been missing so much. We won't forget bands like Trivium, Rammestein and if a bit of Slipknot, Korn and Linkin Park might creep in, are you going to hate us? Hardcore
We all know there is a lot of love for the hardcore live music scene in the Medway towns, but where is there a weekly club night where you can listen to it?! We will be filling your ears with loved names such as Your Demise, Dillinger Escape Plan, Gallows, Stick to Your Guns and the latter. We will include amazing talent aswell like Feed the Rhino, TRC and Broken teeth - big up to the hardworking Medway people who have put in so much effort in bringing these amazing bands to our front door. This is for you. Rock
Now this is such a generic term but we are going to whack some of this out for you. Expect Biffy (and not just mountains), Foo Fighters, 30 Seconds to Mars, Red Hot Chili Peppers (yeah its funk), Jimmy Eat World and Nirvana(yeah it's grunge). Pop Punk
Well we have kind of included Emo in this as well so expect Panic! at the Disco, GreenDay, Sum 41, New Found Glory, My Chemical Romance, Lit, and we will get some Hildamay in there as well I'm sure. more details coming soon...
