🦷✨ We recently visited The Life Nursery and loved seeing their brilliant little brushers in action!

It's fantastic to see oral health being promoted as part of the daily routine, with children enthusiastically brushing their teeth, singing songs, and talking about why keeping their teeth clean is important. 😁🪥

We were also impressed by their fantastic toothbrushing display, packed with helpful hints and tips for children and parents to support healthy smiles at home. 🌟

The nursery team shared that children look forward to brushing each day and are learning important messages about keeping teeth clean, brushing morning and night, and visiting the dentist regularly.

Top tip of the week - Interdental cleaning!

Studies show, interdental cleaning before tooth brushing is far more effective, than after you have brushed your teeth. Happy cleaning😁🦷

Top tip of the week! Beware of snacking!
Eating 3 balanced meals is better for you and your teeth rather than snacking throughout the day, especially on those sugary temptations! 🦷

Fun Fact Friday!

When your child's adult teeth come through, they are often darker in colour against the rest of their baby teeth. This is because the overall thickness of the dentin & enamel in baby teeth is less than in adult teeth. As a result gives them a yellowish look than the usual white look that we see in baby teeth!

It's important for your child to have healthy teeth. They help them eat, speak, and smile confidently. Milk teeth also help to align and space their permanent teeth.
