A successful multidisciplinary surgical approach was performed for management of a compromised tooth and rehabilitation of the affected area. The procedure started with apicectomy and retrograde sealing using Mineral Trioxide Aggregate (MTA) to achieve proper apical closure and enhance periapical healing.
Following surgical endodontic management, immediate implant placement was carried out using a MegaGen ST Implant System implant (3.5 × 13 mm) with good primary stability.
Guided bone regeneration was then performed using bone graft material covered by a pericardium membrane to support hard tissue regeneration and maintain defect stability. Tension-free flap closure was achieved and secured using Prolene 4-0 sutures.
The case is currently in progress with periodic follow-up planned to evaluate healing, osseointegration, and soft tissue response.
