If you feel a sudden “zing” when drinking something cold, your first thought might be a cavity — but in many cases, it’s actually from brushing too hard or using a hard-bristled toothbrush.

When you brush aggressively, you slowly wear away your enamel and expose the dentin layer underneath — the part that reacts to cold, heat, or sweets.

✅ Use a soft-bristled brush, gentle circular motions, and let the toothpaste do the work.

✨ Sometimes, the problem isn’t what you eat — it’s how you brush.

🦷 نصيحة اليوم:
حساسية الأسنان لا تعني دائمًا وجود تسوّس.
إذا شعرت بوخزة مفاجئة عند شرب شيء بارد، قد تظن أن السبب تسوّس، لكن في كثير من الحالات يكون السبب تفريش الأسنان بقوة
زائدة أو باستخدام فرشاة خشنة.

عندما تفرّش بعنف، تُضعف طبقة المينا تدريجيًا، مما يعرّض طبقة العاج الحسّاسة تحتها — وهي التي تشعر بالبرودة أو الحرارة.

✅ استخدم فرشاة ناعمة وحركات دائرية لطيفة، ودَع معجون الأسنان يقوم بالباقي.

✨ أحيانًا، المشكلة ليست في ما تأكله... بل في كيف تنظّف أسنانك.
