What are panoramic X-ray for?
Panoramic X-ray allows you to see parts of the teeth that are under the gums. With its help, the orthodontist can correctly draw up a treatment regimen, predict its timing and select the teeth to be removed (if necessary).
A panoramic x-ray of the teeth is prescribed in the following cases:
👉 detection of caries not visible on visual inspection
👉 specification of the number of teeth, their shape, position and size
👉 detection of the presence of tooth germs and roots
👉 determining the age of teeth
👉 preparatory stage of planned treatment (implantation, prosthetics, bite correction)
👉 removal of wisdom tooth, complex tooth
👉 detection of benign and malignant neoplasms
❗Dentists recommend taking a panoramic X-ray of the teeth at least once every six months of the year!

Для чего нужны панорамные снимки?
Панорамный снимок позволяет увидеть части зубов, которые находятся под деснами. С его помощью ортодонт может правильно составить схему лечения, спрогнозировать его сроки и выбрать зубы, которые подлежат удалению (при необходимости).
Панорамный снимок зубов назначают в следующих случаях:
👉 выявление кариеса, не видимого при визуальном осмотре
👉 уточнение числа зубов, их формы, положения и величины
👉 выявление наличия зубных зачатков и корней
👉 определение возраста зубов
👉 подготовительный этап планового лечения (имплантация, протезирование зубов, коррекция прикуса)
👉 удаление зуба мудрости, сложного зуба
👉 выявление доброкачественных и злокачественных новообразований
❗Стоматологи рекомендуют делать панорамный снимок зубов не реже чем раз в полгода года!
