We welcomed our new apprentices and dual students to Dürr Dental. 💙

Without the regular use of MD 555 cleaner, it is like a nasty cold for your suction system 🤧: deposits of limescale and prophylaxis products clog the pipes 🚫. The suction flow can be seriously reduced as a result. – Just as you have difficulty breathing with a cold.

To prevent this from happening, MD 555 cleaner should be used at least twice a week 📅✅. The acidic cleaner is the ideal complement to Orotol plus and effectively removes inorganic deposits. It helps your suction system to breathe easy again, and you are well protected from infectious aerosols🛡️💨.

Important: Always pay attention to the correct dosage of the cleaner. Prepare a 5% solution by adding 5 dosing caps of 20 ml each to the OroCup and then filling up to the 2-litre mark.

🌻🐝 Working together for greater biodiversity: our new insect hotel is complete!

From the initial idea to the final implementation, our industrial apprentices carried out an impressive project over the past eight weeks. In the process, they took on numerous tasks independently: from gathering information and planning to creating drawings and ordering materials, all the way through to hands-on fabrication and final quality control.

During the project, they were able to apply and refine important skills such as sawing, drilling, gluing, screwing, and sheet metal work. In total, they drilled approximately 4,410 holes and used about 2.5 liters of wood glue. In addition, the apprentices gained exciting insights into CAD design and structured project management—skills that will also be required in their final exam.

A big thank you to the Equipment Construction and Building Services departments for their support with transportation and the final installation on our rooftop terrace.

We are proud of our apprentices’ dedication, initiative, and craftsmanship. A great project that not only provides valuable hands-on experience but also contributes to our local insect population. 💚🐝
