🦷 Daily Habits
• Brush teeth twice a day with a pea-sized amount of fluoride toothpaste
• Brush for a full 2 minutes each time
• Make sure to brush all surfaces — front, back, and chewing areas
• Don’t forget the gumline
• Floss once a day, especially between tight teeth

🥛 Eating & Drinking
• Limit sugary snacks and drinks (juice, candy, gummies, cookies)
• Choose water over juice or pop throughout the day
• Offer tooth-friendly snacks like cheese, yogurt, veggies, or nuts
• Avoid sticky snacks that cling to teeth
• Rinse with water after meals if brushing isn’t possible

After receiving her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the University of Alberta, Dr. Schmidt went on to complete her General Practice Residency at SickKids Hospital in Toronto and her Pediatric Dentistry Residency at the Children’s Hospital of Colorado in Denver.

Dr. Schmidt is dedicated to helping your child become the happiest, healthiest version of themselves! She is passionate about empowering parents through open discussions and addressing any concerns to ensure families feel confident about their child’s oral health.
