Sole to Summit Orthotics

Cheers to 2 YEARS of Sole to Summit Orthotics! 🥳

What an incredible two years it has been! It has been such a pleasure helping our community stay moving comfortably, whether that’s on the trails, on the ice, up in the mountains, or simply through everyday life!

A HUGE thank you to everyone who has supported this little business, trusted us with their care, and helped make these past two years so rewarding. It has me dancing with joy (literally)!

We can’t wait to see what the next few years bring and to continue keeping the West Kootenays moving, one step at a time! 💛

Are the top covers of your custom orthotics starting to look a little worse for wear?

The good news is, that doesn’t necessarily mean you need a brand-new pair!

The shell of a custom foot orthotic will often last much longer than the materials on top. Over time, top covers can compress, peel, crack or simply wear out from everyday use.

Sometimes, all your orthotics need is a little refresh. A new top cover can give them a whole new life — and voilà!

If your orthotics are looking a little tired, bring them in and we can take a look to see if refurbishing is an option.

What happens behind the door at Sole to Summit Orthotics? Come have a look!

You may know us for biomechanical assessments, gait analysis, custom foot orthotics and custom knee bracing. But did you know we also carry off-the-shelf insoles, ankle and knee braces, select upper extremity braces, and a variety of helpful toe products.

We’ll discuss what’s going on, look at how you move, and explore options that fit your needs and your footwear—from everyday shoes to hiking boots, ski boots and skates.

The goal? To help you keep doing the things you love, more comfortably.

Curious whether pedorthic care could be part of your treatment plan? Give us a call or visit soletosummit.com.

Do your Birkenstocks look like any of these?

The wear pattern on your sandals can tell a story about how you move. Uneven or unusual wear may be a sign of:
• An abnormal gait pattern
• Muscle imbalances
• Joint mobility restrictions
• Or it could simply be your normal way of walking

While not every wear pattern is a cause for concern, some can contribute to foot, ankle, knee, hip, or lower back symptoms over time.

If you’ve ever wondered what your footwear wear patterns are saying about you, a gait analysis can provide valuable insight into how your body moves and whether there are opportunities to improve comfort and function.

Book an assessment and gait analysis with Sole to Summit Orthotics today and take the first step toward moving better!
