A very special milestone for us! 💙♿🦷
Yesterday reminded us exactly why In Path Dental was created: to remove barriers and create a more accessible approach to dental care for people with different needs. We had the privilege of treating our first patient using our brand-new wheelchair recliner.
This specialized equipment allows our patients to remain safely in their own wheelchair during dental care, reducing the need for difficult or unsafe transfers and providing greater comfort, dignity, and positioning. At the same time, it provides our dental team with improved ergonomics to deliver care safely and effectively.
We are incredibly proud to be one of the only private dental offices in Canada offering this level of accessibility. For us, this is much more than adding new technology to our office. It reflects what we believe Special Care Dentistry should be: more inclusive and integrative, with care that adapts to the individual needs of each person.
Thank you to our incredible team, our patients, and their caregivers for being part of this journey. Everyone deserves access to quality dental care!
Together, we can change the world… and we are already doing it! 💙

🪥 Parents' reminder!

Even when children want to brush on their own, they still need a little help. Most kids benefit from supervision and assistance until around age 7 or 8, when they have the coordination to brush thoroughly.

Building healthy habits now helps set the foundation for a lifetime of healthy smiles. 💙

Did you know? 🦷

Plaque starts forming on your teeth again just hours after brushing. That's why brushing twice a day and cleaning between your teeth daily are so important.

Consistency is one of the best things you can do to keep your smile healthy for years to come.

🍋 Lemon water is a refreshing way to stay hydrated, especially during the summer—but your teeth need a little extra care.

Because citrus is acidic, sipping lemon water throughout the day can gradually wear away enamel. Try drinking it with meals, using a straw when possible, and rinsing with plain water afterward.

Small habits can go a long way in protecting your smile!

⏰ Two minutes can make a big difference.

Brushing too quickly can leave behind plaque and food particles that contribute to cavities and gum disease. Aim for a full two minutes, twice a day, and be sure to brush every surface of every tooth.

Your smile is worth those extra moments! 🦷✨

📅 Don't wait until something hurts.

Regular dental checkups help catch small issues before they become bigger, more expensive problems. Preventive care is one of the smartest investments you can make in your oral health.

If it's been a while since your last visit, we'd love to see you!
