কারণ ও লক্ষণসমূহ:প্রধান কারণ:
ওষুধ (অ্যান্টিহিস্টামিন, রক্তচাপের ওষুধ), লালা গ্রন্থির সমস্যা, ডায়াবেটিস, স্নায়বিক ক্ষতি, ডিহাইড্রেশন, এবং মুখ দিয়ে শ্বাস নেওয়া ।

লক্ষণ: মুখের ভেতর শুকনো ও আঠালো অনুভূতি, কথা বলতে, চিবুতে বা গিলতে অসুবিধা, ঠোঁট ফাটা, এবং মুখের স্বাদ পরিবর্তন |

প্রতিকার ও ঘরোয়া টিপস:

পানি পান: সারাদিন ধরে অল্প অল্প করে ঘন ঘন পানি পান করুন ।

লালা বৃদ্ধি: চিনি-মুক্ত ক্যান্ডি বা চুইংগাম চিবান ।

বর্জনীয়: ক্যাফেইন (কফি, চা), ধূমপান এবং অ্যালকোহলযুক্ত পানীয় পরিহার করুন ।
ওরাল হাইজিন: অ্যালকোহল-মুক্ত মাউথওয়াশ ব্যবহার করুন এবং নিয়মিত দাঁত মাজুন ।

হিউমিডিফায়ার: রাতে শোবার ঘরে হিউমিডিফায়ার ব্যবহার করতে পারেন ।যদি শুষ্ক মুখ দীর্ঘস্থায়ী হয়, তবে অবশ্যই ডেন্টিস্ট বা ডাক্তারের পরামর্শ নেওয়া উচিত।
