!!! COVID-19 Update: Lock down 28th May - 3rd June 2021 !!!

As of 28th May 2021, the Victorian State government as mandated a lock down that is currently anticipated to last until Thursday the 3rd June, 2021.
This means that ; We are not able to see any patients unless they fit the following criteria as mandated by the Victorian Government ;
Facial swelling
Intra-oral swelling
Facial trauma
Dental trauma
Significant/constant/uncontrollable pain.

Our front office staff are organizing to get in touch with patients booked. You will be contacted if affected.

We hope to resume normal appointments as of 8:30am Friday the 3rd June 2021.

Broken tooth
Lost filling
Any other emergency or

If you are wanting to book;
A general check up and or clean,
continue routine care for root canal, crown/bridge/ veneers
dental whitening,
An extraction where the tooth is not sore
Denture care
Invisalign treatment

Contact our staff and we will arrange a booking for you AFTER the lock down

Lockdown 3.0 UPDATE:
Under direction from the State government and the Australian Dental Association only urgent patients with facial swelling, facial trauma or with severe unrelenting pain are permitted to be booked in.
We are saddened that all our general dental care must be postponed. Our staff will endeavour to contact patients with appointments to reschedule.
Our clinic will reopen 9am Thursday 18th February and will accept all patient appointments following the lockdown rules.

We are very pleased to announce the easing of the dental restrictions to stage 2 from 28th September in Metro Melbourne and the return of Dr Angela Diviach from 30th September after giving birth to a beautiful baby girl, Sienna!!

This means that we can now see all patients for routine care except dental scale and cleans with water until mid October. It has been a very challenging eight weeks of lockdown, and we are very excited to see you all again in person.

All patients who are booked prior to 28 September for dental cleans will be contacted with suitable patients able to have hand scaling performed with no water.

To all Diviach Dental patients and families;

As we come to the end of five weeks of strict lockdown, we hope all are keeping well during this very difficult time.

We were disappointed to hear the Premier's announcement that dentistry and orthodontics will remain at a restricted level for the foreseeable future. We are not sure when the restrictions will be lifted, but it is possible that this could be for an extended time.

In the meantime, please note – we are offering emergency appointments for any patients that require them. If you are in pain or discomfort, please call the practice on 9391 1114 to request an appointment. We want you to know that we are here for you and will offer as much support as possible.

For any patients who have appointments scheduled from the 14th September, our office will contact you a week out from your appointment to advise of any changes. Due to the number of patients to be rescheduled, we ask that you wait for us to contact you. We are grateful for your patience and understanding.

We will continue to keep you informed of future developments as we become aware of them. Please share and distribute this post to friends and family of the practice so we can continue to keep people informed.

IMPORTANT UPDATE

Due to the increase in COVID 19 cases and our goal to reduce active case numbers and fatalities, we have made the difficult decision to postpone some dental treatments in the next six weeks and change our opening hours to minimise the reason for patient travel in our community.

Saturdays the clinic will be closed until further notice and Friday mornings we will be open on a limited basis. Monday to Thursday we will be open from 9am to 5pm.

Your dental health is a priority to us but during these difficult times we feel the safety and health of our patients, staff and their families are of utmost importance.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may pose but reassure all our patients that we will be here for any emergency treatment required.

Our reception team will be in touch and if we are unable to reach your call instantly please leave us a message and we will endevour to contact all patients new and existing as soon as possible.

As of today it is mandatory to wear a face mask when outside of your home within the Melbourne Metro region and Mitchell Shire. We request that all of our visitors and patients be wearing a mask on arrival and we will ask you to remove it when appropriate!

We would like to thank you for your cooperation 🙏🏼😷

You will find all of our staff from reception, to the office and of course all of our clinical staff will also be wearing masks at all times.

P.s. to prevent your glasses fogging up make sure you pinch the mask at the nose!
