Meet Dr Santosh Kumar 🪥

With more than 22 years of dental experience across India, Kuwait and Australia, Dr Santosh brings a wealth of knowledge to Aurora Smiles Dental.His clinical interests include dental implants, gum disease treatment, minor oral surgery and laser dentistry.

His qualifications include BDS, MDS (Periodontics), M.Perio RCSEd, M.Imp.Dent RCSEd, FDS RCSEd, and Fellowship and Mastership with the ICOI. He is also an examiner with the Faculty of Dental Surgery at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.

Dr Santosh is also the author of PerioVista: Problem Solving in Periodontics, reflecting his passion for education and advancing knowledge in periodontal care.

He believes patients should feel informed and confident about their dental care. His calm, caring approach and ability to explain treatment clearly are especially reassuring for patients considering more complex procedures.

Outside dentistry, he enjoys travelling, exploring different cuisines and watching documentaries about science, history and current affairs.
