"Crown lengthening" isn't only about removing bone to creat "biologic width" . It's about creating an easily maintainable root surface. Hence mesial furcation on tooth 16 was removed.

Probing depth at tooth 35 is the same as the distance from free gingival margin to the mucogingival junction which means almost zero attached keratinized gingiva.
There was no aesthetic concerns nor sensitivity issues so I decided to do a free gingival graft to recreate a wide zone of attached keratinized gingiva to protect against further breakdown.
3 months follow up picture is shown.

Here we have a patient who's not interested in implant surgery or any other type of surgery
46 is endo treated and 44 already had a DO composite.
A decision was made to restore missing 45 with a bridge that's retained with a crown on 46 and an inlay on 44.

Analysis of preoperative X ray is extremely important before extraction so you know what you're getting into.
Difficulties in this case could be summarised as follows:
1 thick interseptal bone
2 the roots are bulbous at the tip
3 tooth is endo treated -apparently- which renders it brittle
Extraction was done under 4x magnification and light without flap

Extraction tip
Apical curvature of roots can lead to locking which prevent delivering the roots out of the socket (roots become mobile but locked apically).
A conservative flap + separation of roots solves the problem in most cases.
