Introducing Dr Neha Rathod part of the TEAM at Park Avenue Dental Clinic
Dr Neha qualified from The University of Birmingham, UK in 2011. After completing her Foundation training, she spent 2 years in the Hospital environment with positions in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at hospitals in the North West London Hospital Trust and then world-renowned Great Ormond Street Hospital. Through these positions, she expanded her skill-set in surgical treatments and also treatment of younger patients (Paediatric Dentistry).

Following this, she returned to General Practice, whilst carrying out a year-long course in Advanced Restorative Treatment and Aesthetic dentistry, focusing especially on minimally invasive aesthetic techniques. She also provides short-term adult brace options such as Invisalign, surgical procedures and particularly enjoys treating paediatric patients, who always feel comfortable with her.

Additionally, Neha is a Dental Educator, mentoring and teaching younger dentists and helping them integrate into general practice. She returned to University in 2016 to complete her Post-Graduate Certificate in Dental Education, which she passed with Distinction.
Since moving to Dubai in 2018, Neha has built a strong reputation as a respected Dentist in the region. She continues to practice following her personal philosophy of providing high quality ethical dental care, using evidence based approaches, all whilst keeping her patient’s best interests at heart.

Dr. Jad El Khawand holds a Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree as well as a Master’s degree in Aesthetic Dentistry and Prosthodontics from Saint Joseph
University in Beirut, Lebanon.
Dr. Jad is certified from the American Board, an active member of both the Lebanese Prosthodontics Association
and the Department of removable
prosthodontics at Saint Joseph University Beirut.

Welcoming a new Specialist to the Team at Park Avenue Dental Clinic
Doctor Marc Habib did his undergrad studies in Dentistry at the Saint Joseph University of Beirut and graduated with honors. He was awarded the Zareh Ouzounian prize of Endodontics in 2004.
He graduated in 2007 with a Masters Specialization in Endodontics followed by a Masters in Biomaterials of the oral Cavity at the Saint Joseph University as well.
Very skillful using the operating microscope, he is a highly skilled professional with extensive experience in endodontics. Senior lecturer giving courses in the Endodontic University of Jaume I (Spain) and visiting lecturer for the Masters of Advanced Endodontics program of the University of Sienna (Italy).
He is the Treasurer of Lebanese Society of Endodontology, member of the European Society of Endodontology and member of the SIE (Italian Society of Endodontics).
Gold Member of the Style Italiano Endodontics group.
Opinion leader and speaker at numerous conferences and workshops in the UAE and abroad.

Joy graduated from Leeds University in 1999 with first class honours.

She moved to Dubai in 2006 where she has worked exclusively in private practice treating patients from all walks of life to a very high standard.

Joy’s strengths are putting people at ease and explaining things in a clear and friendly manner so that her patients feel fully involved in their treatment decisions. She strongly believes in the principles of informed consent and ensuring the benefits of any treatments outweigh the risks.

Joy is a perfectionist who prides herself on making things as painless as possible and ensuring her patients are comfortable so that they don’t fear or dread their dental visits.

Whilst she has taken her post-graduate training in cosmetic and restorative dentistry, she also likes to refer her patients to specialist colleagues if they require something that is beyond her skill set - this ensures they always get the most highly trained person treating them.

Joy has travelled extensively to the USA where she learned how to do smile makeovers with the world famous Dr. Larry Rosenthal in NY and Palm Beach and is a graduate of the highly esteemed Kois Centre restorative programme where she learned to diagnose and treat complex cases predictably. She enjoys General family dentistry as well as more involved work such as treating extreme tooth wear and erosion and feels that restoring worn teeth can be more effective than any facelift and take 10 years off one’s appearance.

Joy lives with her husband and their family of pets in Dubai and enjoys exercise, good food, spending time with friends and is a big animal lover.
